A SOUL'S HEART WEEPS

Pain hidden within
How does one express it
When no one ever knew
The sacrifice I made for you

For your happiness
It was all that mattered
While inside my dreams shattered
Was it too much to bare

Never did I show
That which felt to flow
From within wrapped in compassion
Totality of truth withheld

Suffering inside that you never knew
Too wrapped in your own life
From this I grew but you would never know
The woman you missed loving in whole

So often choices made because of love
Beyond anyone's grasp to comprehend
Walking through this life no one knows
How deep how hard the sacrifices made

A Soul's heart weeps the tears of emotion
Never expressed but held close
A River of tears flowed into the ocean
Cried all alone you never knew the real devotion

So was it all so real or just a fantasy
Feelings so deep of another reality
Whoever knows of love's wild ways
We can only embrace ourselves
As we go on to love another someday
