SPIRITUAL EYES
Believing in something so elusive
Wondering where this mystery evolved
So endearing it can be
Sometimes dangerous within the wrong mind
Finding heart, soul and body
Seemingly innocent and true
Never fearing that someday
Someone would turn that against you
Flying on wings of pure spirit
Wondering why chosen for this task
How can one be ready to connect
So many to what is ultimately found within
Ever flowing the transformation
Of the physical into lightness
Seeing the magic everywhere
Knowing the source freely flows
From within all that there is
Forever it has been this way
Acknowledging the incredible power
Even held within the smallest of hands
Such a simple step or is it
Believing ultimately that this connection
Will be made again and again
For everyone is touched and enlightened
Eventually by spiritual eyes opened so wide
As to let all doubt abate
Released from earthly desire
Bound to a higher plane of existence
Letting go of all that holds selfish pride
Walking away from pain
Floating effortlessly into pure acceptance
Love always finding a way to touch the heart, the soul
